From west of Yonge St (including Pearson international airport): Take highway 401 eastbound. Exit highway 401 at Yonge Street bearing left on the exit, this will take you northbound onto Yonge. Continue north on Yonge St. towards Sheppard Avenue for ½ kilometre. Sheppard is the first major street north of highway 401 and is the third set of traffic lights from the off ramp. Turn left onto Sheppard Ave, heading west. Make the first right onto Beecroft Rd. Continue north on Beecroft for 1 kilometre past two sets of traffic lights Turn left onto McBride Lane. McBride Lane borders Dempsey Park, on the east side of Beecroft. Dempsey park can easily be recognized by the 19th century Georgian building with verandah that sits at the front of the park.
